The birthday cake,
baked one tower over.
Every society has a home baker whose cakes everyone talks about — and a group chat where their weekend preorders get lost. On Hoodzy, bakers in your apartment society post their bakes, open preorders, and close them when the oven is full.

Catch this weekend’s bakes
Bakers in your society post what is coming out of the oven, how many are left, and when preorders close.
Preorder, or ask for a custom cake
Order from the menu, or ask for a custom cake with no set price and talk the design through with the baker, who sets the agreed price on your order.
Collect, and pay the baker directly
Pick up from their flat or get it delivered, as the baker offers, and pay by UPI or cash, directly to them.
Bake from home?
Open weekend preorders, cap them at what your oven can do, and stop tallying “+1” replies in the group. Keep the whole price — no commission. Selling on Hoodzy →
Good to know —
Can I order a custom or themed cake?
Yes. Bakers list custom work with a starting price (“From ₹800”) or no set price. Send your request with the design, discuss it with the baker, and they update the order with the final price — you are notified, and can ask to cancel if it does not suit you.
Are eggless options available?
That is up to each baker — many list eggless bakes separately. The item description tells you before you order.
How far ahead should I order a cake?
Each baker sets when orders close, and the post says what to order by. For a custom cake, put the date in your request and check it with the baker directly.
